The JL Audio 7.7" M6 tower speakers are the latest and most technologically advanced, JL Audio tower speaker enclosures and offer maximum performance. The JL Audio M6, 7.7" ETX tower speakers are designed to withstand the elements of a marine environment while providing superior sound quality. When mounted up high, these M6, 7.7" ETX enclosures will deliver clean, loud audio that can be heard well beyond the boat.
These M6, 7.7" marine grade speakers come with RGB LEDs integrated behind the cone. Unlike most LED speakers that feature LEDs facing backward behind the speaker grille, the JL M6 uses JL's patented Translective RGB technology that emits a smooth lighting effect through the woofer of the cone with your choice of several lighting colors. If you add an optional RGB controller, you can create thousands of different color variations to match your boat, or set the mood.
The M6-770ETXv3-Sb-S-GmTi-i feature two-tone titanium, open-style, sport grilles and have a decorative, aluminum "JL" logo cap at the back of each enclosure that can be orinted in any direction. The gloss white enclosures are designed to mate JL's ETX mounting fixtures, which are sold separately. The speaker cable exits the speaker through the center of the fixture to keep the connection high, dry, and out of sight.
The woofers of the M6 speakers offer long excusion for audible mid-bass regardless of whether you are at speed on the open water, on a slow cruise, or docked. Unlike most other marine grade speakers which feature aluminum or hard-dome PEI tweeters, the JL Audio 7.7" M6 speakers feature a 1" silk dome tweeter that has been specially treated to withstand the marine envorinment. This results in ultra-clean and articulate high frequency response without the ear-piercing shrill you sometimes get at high volumes. The M6 features a passive 2-way, built-in crossover and is designed for 40-200 watts of RMS power per channel.
