Bigger is better with our Kicker 8", 4 speaker stereo package. The 8" diameter offers more sub-bass response than 6.5" speakers. The 8" just play louder and sound better. The KXM amp has plenty of power and is actually under-rated with 50 watt per channel output. It sounds much better than other "50W per channel" amps. If you have the space and you can fit the 8" speakers, go with the 8's. The Kicker 8" speakers come with both charocal and white grilles, allowing you to see what both would look like and you can choose which looks best in your actual boat as opposed to having to decide up front.
