Unbeatable Value for Quality Marine Speakers - The M1 speakers are one of the best values out there. These speakers can go toe to toe against the JL Audio M3, Wet Sounds RECON, or any other marine speakers and hold their own, all while costing less money. Rockford Fosgate has been a symbol of quality for amplifiers and subwoofers since the 1970s. They have taken their engineering and design expertise and brought it to the marine market. These speakers are designed to last and are not just 1 or 2 season speakers.
1" PEI Tweeter - The 1" PEI dome tweeter will deliver clarity and volume to cut through the wind, water, and engine noise. The PEI dome material is designed to withstand the elements while not sounding harsh like aluminum tweeters sometimes do.
Color Optix RGB LEDs - The M1 speakers and subwoofers come with Rockford's Color Optix RGB LEDs built in. When you use the Rockford PMX-RGB LED controller, you can customize the color output or select from 30 different color changing modes using the RF connect app on your phone. In addition, the Color Optix RGB LED system is designed to be plug and play. No cutting, twisting, crimping, soldering, or heat shrinking required. You do have to buy the Color Optix cables, but you plug one end of the cable into the PMX-RGB and the other end of the cable into the speaker or subwoofer. This saves you significant installation time and a headache.
Hard Hitting Bass that Costs Less - The Rockford Fosgate M1 subwoofers, like the M1 speakers, are an incredible value. These subwoofers can handle 300 watts RMS, come with the grille, and have the Color Optix RGB LEDs built-in. These subwoofers deliver the performance of more expensive subwoofers while costing less.
Versaswitch Voice Coils - The Versaswitch voice coils make the subwoofer wiring easy. You don't need to worry about wiring DVC subwoofers.
Choose The Amp(s) That fit Your Install and Budget - If you are opting for a single subwoofer, the M2-750X5 is perfect. There's no reason to spend more money. You get an Class D marine amp that delivers plenty of power to both the speakers and the subwoofer and it includes a bass knob. If you are going to run two subwoofers and space isn't an issue, we recommend the PM1000X5. If space is an issue, go with the M5-1500X5.
Option to Add Marine Grade Amp Installation Kit(s) - If you don't already have a stereo system installed, we recommend adding the Stinger 4 AWG marine amp wiring kits. In addition, the power and ground cables are both 7 meters long because you need to run the ground back to the negative battery terminal. The power and ground cables are molded together like speaker wire which make it easier when routing the power and ground cables through your boat. There's one wire to pull instead of two.
