The Wet Sounds Recon speakers offer a more affordable option to get that signature Wet Sounds volume without having to spend up for the REVO 6. The RECON 6.5" speakers have a 3/4" aluminum dome tweeter compared to the larger, 1" titanium dome tweeter on the REVO. The Wet Sounds RECON 6 are designed to work in lower power applications to give you that Wet Sounds volume when wiring off of a lower power amplifier or directly off of your head unit. The Wet Sounds RECON 6 are perfect if you want Wet Sounds but you don't have the power to hear what you get from the REVO, or you don't have the budget to spend $300+ for a pair of boat speakers.
